STAFF 2007 HOLIDAY PARTY - SHOP TILL YOU DROP!

What do you give as a holiday gift to thirty VERY different people ... male and female, ages 15 to ... hmm ... over 60?  That used to be the dilemma faced by HCC Director Denise Sellers each year, until she hit upon the idea of letting them choose their own gifts!

Staff members from the four HCC programs gathered at the Mabel Kay House on December 6 for their annual holiday party and gift shopping night.

After enjoying a quick pizza dinner, each staff member was given a Haddonfield Townwide Gift Certificate, and sent out to shop for their own holiday gift courtesy of HCC.

After enjoying the ambience of Haddonfield's Candlelight Shopping, the group returned to the Mabel Kay House for hot chocolate and an assortment of delicious desserts provided by the HCC Board of Trustees.

Board President Karen Stevenson and Trustee Bob Christman thanked the staff for a great start to the new school year, and wished them a happy holiday season.  Karen and Bob and several other board members were in attendance to show their appreciation for the work HCC staff members do to keep their children safe and happy each day at the programs.

A few of the HCC Board members' children accompanied their parents to the party, helping to set up and serve for their afterschool teachers.

Staff took turns showing off their gift selections, though a few confessed to saving their certificates for future purchases.

Denise and the staff would like to thank the Board of Trustees, Arlene Fiorilli and her staff at the Information Center, as well as Dory Mann and the Mabel Kay House, for their help in making the party a success.
