Haddonfield Child Care Announces 2008-09 EDKP Registration
Do you have a child who will be entering Kindergarten in September, 2008?
Haddonfield Child Care (HCC) provides wraparound child care for kindergarten children enrolled in the three Haddonfield public schools through its Extended Day Kindergarten Program (EDKP).
The EDKP is housed at Central Elementary School. Transportation to/from the other two elementary schools is provided. Care is available as early as 7:30 a.m., to as late as 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, on days when school is in session. Parents may select part or full time schedules.
Registration for the 2008-9 EDKP will open to new HCC families on Tuesday, February 4, at the Haddonfield Public Schools' Kindergarten Registration Day. A member of the HCC staff will be on hand at Elizabeth Haddon School to register students from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Parents who need care are urged to register early on February 4, as space is extremely limited and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration forms can be requested in advance from the HCC office by calling 429-1603, or downloaded from the website. However, completed registration forms from new families will not be accepted prior to February 4. A non-refundable $40.00 registration fee must accompany the completed form, and parents will be required to sign an Enrollment Agreement upon registration. A non-refundable tuition deposit of $100 will be due by March 17 in order to keep an EDKP space.
Beginning February 5, all registrations for EDKP must be done in person at the HCC office in Room B105 at Haddonfield High School. Please note that no registrations for this program will be accepted by mail or on-line.
